Data Deletion Instructions
01 Overview
This page explains what data Kylix Agent collects when you interact with a Kylix-powered agent through a Meta platform (Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp) or any other channel — and how you can request that your data be permanently deleted.
These instructions satisfy the Data Deletion Callback and Data Deletion Instructions URL requirements for Meta Platform Policy compliance.
02 What Data We Hold About You
When you send a message to a brand's AI agent powered by Kylix — for example through WhatsApp, Instagram DMs, Facebook Messenger, or a website chat widget — the following data may be collected and stored:
- Message content: The text of the messages you sent to the agent.
- Platform identifier: Your WhatsApp phone number, Instagram user ID, or Facebook user ID — as provided by the platform when you initiate a conversation. Kylix does not receive your full Facebook or Instagram profile or your account password.
- Message metadata: Timestamps, message delivery status, and channel type.
- Contextual memory (Growth and Enterprise plans): If the brand's agent is on a plan that enables customer memory, Kylix may retain a summary of your past preferences and purchase history to personalise future conversations.
Kylix does not collect your Facebook or Instagram account password, payment details, date of birth, or any data beyond what is needed to operate the conversational agent. Conversation logs are automatically purged after 90 days.
03 How to Request Deletion of Your Data
You may request deletion of all personal data Kylix holds about you by any of the following methods:
Option 1 — Email request (recommended)
Send an email to kylixagent@gmail.com with the subject line: Data Deletion Request.
Please include:
- The platform you used (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, or website chat).
- Your phone number, username, or approximate date of the conversations so we can locate your records.
- The name of the brand whose agent you were speaking with, if known.
Option 2 — Facebook “Remove” flow
If you connected to a Kylix-powered agent via a Facebook app integration, you can revoke permissions and trigger a data deletion request directly through Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Find the relevant Kylix-connected app and click Remove.
- Check the box to “Delete all activities” before confirming removal. This sends a deletion signal to our servers.
Option 3 — Contact form
You may also submit a request through our Contact page. Include “Data Deletion Request” in the subject line and the same details listed under Option 1.
04 What Happens After You Submit a Request
- Acknowledgement (within 48 hours): We will confirm receipt of your request and provide a reference number.
- Verification (within 5 business days): We may ask you to verify your identity to ensure we delete the correct records.
- Deletion (within 30 days): Once verified, we will permanently delete your conversation logs, platform identifiers, and any contextual memory data from our systems. We will email you confirmation when deletion is complete.
Kylix may retain minimal records for a limited period where legally required (for example, to comply with tax or financial regulations or to resolve an active dispute). Any such retained data will be isolated and used only for that specific purpose.
05 Scope of Deletion
A data deletion request submitted to Kylix covers data held in Kylix's systems. It does not automatically delete data held by:
- Meta's own systems: Messages sent through WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook Messenger are also stored by Meta subject to their own data policies. To delete data from Meta's systems, please use Meta's own deletion tools in your account settings.
- The brand you spoke with: If the brand independently stored or exported conversation data outside the Kylix platform, you will need to contact that brand directly.
